Client Overview: The Morgan Library
We've been the Morgan Library & Museum's creative partner since 2019, producing bespoke videos in all areas of their programming. From 2019 through 2022, we created a multi-part series documenting the restoration of the exterior and garden of the original Morgan Library building first built in 1906. Since 2019, we have created short films in support of nearly all of the Morgan’s special exhibitions. We also produce an ongoing series called "Collection in Focus" wherein we engage a Morgan curator and/or a special outside guest to take us on deep-dive into their favorite pieces from the Morgan's one-of-a-kind collection.
Selected Films

Exhibition Films
More than just promotional content, these films pack the dense, scholarly work of the Morgan's curators into a short, dynamic, easily-accessible format. Often taking the form of an overview and mini-tour of select highlights, we've created more than 40 of these films in the last five years in support of almost all of the Morgan’s special exhibitions. Last year, we had the opportunity to explore the world of the Morgan's founding director, Belle da Costa Greene, for the museum’s blockbuster exhibition: Belle da Costa Greene: A Librarian's Legacy.

Collection in Focus: Fran Lebowitz
Each Collection in Focus video offers unexpected perspectives on remarkable works from the Morgan’s collection. This evergreen series has been ongoing since 2021 and features the Morgan's expert curators but also some notable VIP guests. This episode with writer and critic Fran Lebowitz discussing standout Morgan literary manuscripts is one of our favorites.

Restoration Series 2019-2022
We created this 14-part exploration of the Morgan building's 100-plus-year history while highlighting the many talented artisans and technicians who worked to restore it over the course of a massive multiyear restoration project.
Two series of six 1-minute mini-clips premiered in two cycles (both before and after the pandemic, when the project was paused) and culminated in this 7-minute mini-documentary that tells the full story.
