Public Art Fund: 40th Anniversary
Public Art Fund
In 2017, we created this twelve-part documentary series celebrating Public Art Fund's 40th anniversary. We conceptualized the entire series that featured five exhibition films and a series of thematic retrospective pieces that each explored a different aspect of PAF's history but bringing in fresh perspectives from the public as well.
In the October installment, the internationally renowned artist and activist Ai Weiwei discusses his immersive citywide exhibition, "Good Fences Make Good Neighbors." Inspired by the global refugee crisis and the recent rhetoric on border control, "Good Fences" is a groundbreaking exhibition comprised of more than 300 individual artworks.
Check out the exhibition film here and then scroll down to view the rest of the series.
