A retrospective look at Public Art Fund's 40 years of exhibitions, featuring the vocal talents of Mo Rocca.
We created this video on behalf of the Public Art Fund's 40th anniversary exhibition, "Commercial Break." Commercial Break expands across all 5 boroughs of New York City, showing work from 23 contemporary artists who have created platform-specific artworks designed to shake-up the advertising cycles on digital screens across the city. Platforms included a major billboard in Times Square; Barclays Center’s “Oculus;" screens at the Westfield World Trade Center; hundreds of LinkNYC’s Link kiosks in all five boroughs; and PublicArtFund.org.
Part of Public Art Fund's 40th Anniversary celebration, Liz Glynn created an open-air ruin of a Gilded Age ballroom with her piece, "Open House." On view in the Doris C. Freedman Plaza March-September 2017.
